Pieter Duisenberg
Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU)
Pieter Duisenberg has been President of the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) since October 2017. Pieter Duisenberg aims to impact the political debate and give a strong voice to the university sector. The main issues the VSNU has worked on are internationalisation, academic careers, funding and quality of education. Before joining the VSNU, Pieter Duisenberg was a member of the Dutch Parliament (for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, VVD) since 2012, where his portfolio was Higher Education and Science. Prior to his political career, Pieter worked for more than twenty years in the private sector, holding positions in Shell, McKinsey & Company and Eneco. Pieter is currently a guest lecturer at the VU Amsterdam and the University of Groningen.
Hein Roelfsema

Prof. dr. Hein Roelfsema, who created this course, is the Leading Researcher in the field of entrepreneurship at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University). He chairs the Dutch Centres for Entrepreneurship as well as the Global Entrepreneurship Network in the Netherlands and Europe. In Russia, he further teaches entrepreneurship at Innopolis University. He is also an Associate Professor for International Entrepreneurship at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

Nancy Bocken

Nancy Bocken is Professor in Sustainable Business at Maastricht University, Maastricht Sustainability Institute, the Netherlands. Her research topics include sustainable business models, business experiments, Circular Economy, sufficiency and closing the 'idea-action' gap for sustainability. Nancy's most recent research project is Circular X, a €1.5m, five-year research project funded by the ERC about experimentation with circular business models. Nancy is academic lead of the new joint Master's in Sustainable Business in Maastricht together with York University. Nancy is also Fellow at Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and co-founded her own circular and sustainable business called HOMIE. She holds a PhD from the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, which was fully funded by Unilever.

He has specialised in entrepreneurship, family business and strategy and has 36 years of combined experience as an academic at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and the Indian School of Business.

Beverley also served as a Scholarship Selection Manager at the Allan and Gill Gray Orbis Foundation, Scholar Development Officer (SDO) at Standard Bank Tutuwa Community Foundation and established the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) at SU in 2019. Beverley is currently a part of the Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropy team where she oversees Marketing and Communication as well as Selection processes for its East Africa program, JASIRI.
